This section focuses on abandoned cars that have been discovered throughout Australia, from Queensland, down the east coast through New South Whales, Victoria and around to South Australia. From rural towns, inner city properties to cars dumped in the forrest and bushland's these abandoned cars have been decaying for years and this is how nature has dealt with them.

Among the cobwebs and the shy light that streams through broken windows, I search for places punished by time. As industries change, buildings often get left behind. What happened, why has it been abandoned and what’s the story behind the abandonment? This is my ongoing project and the albums below provide a glimpse into our forgotten past, providing an exact photographic recording of the buildings and how they got to their current state, often giving the feeling that time has stopped.

I am currently continuing study in the Creative Masters Degree in Photography. My subject matter is looking at places of remembrance where issues of identity are strongly tied to the individual's perception of the past. Importantly, where we have come from and where we have dwelt and the collective or social memories interconnected with the histories of cultural or ethnic communities with the urban landscapes.
