This early 20th century Gothic style building spent most of its years as a convent in a small town in New South Whales. The convent operated successfully over the years and closed it doors in 1972. It was later taken over in the late 1970s to house people with mental disabilities.
A 2012 fire ravaged much of the complex damaging the roof and the upper floor leaving a number of scorched rooms. Nature has begun to slowly reclaim, plant life now thrives, filling rooms, corridors and creeping through windows.
